Our Values Wheel has ‘hope’ at its core. Drawing on our Christian foundations as a Church School, we want all our young people to feel that ‘hope’, and so experience ‘life to the full’.
The Values represented here guide and offer a framework for our work. They put the needs of our students at the very centre of all that we do.

Students at Wadham school are celebrating a record year for GCSE attainment, following a significant increase in the number of grades awarded at the highest level. 10% of all grades achieved this summer were evenly split between Grade 8 and Grade 9, with a five-fold increase in the number of Grade 9s awarded, compared with results last year. Collectively, 13 students achieved 50 Grade 9 awards, with many achieving Grade 9s across several subjects.
Overall, nearly 17% of all grades awarded were at Grade 7 or higher, an amazing achievement for all involved.
With strong outcomes shared across the curriculum, attainment rose significantly in English, Maths and Science, as well as in Further Maths, Statistics, French, and Religious Studies.
Headteacher Richard Burgas said, “I am immensely proud of all our students’ achievements and delighted that their hard work and commitment have been rewarded with a fantastic set of results. Wadham School is a special place and this year’s results are a testament to the unswerving care and support given by parents and staff in keeping learning and well-being at the heart of what we do. I wish all of our Year 11 leavers every success in their future endeavours and know that they will continue to make waves and thrive in the world around them.”
